"Blueprint for a Safer Philadelphia" taps CADE

With the visionary goal of eliminating all youth violence by 2016, the Blueprint for a Safer Philadelphia initiative is a 10-year community-based, collaborative prevention effort. State Representative Dwight Evans created the "Blueprint" by securing $16 million in state funding for this historic effort, launched in January 2008. CADE was one of 10 service providers selected for the Year II focus on the city's Point Breeze and Cobbs Creek sections.
