CADE depends on individual, business and foundation contributions. When CADE was founded in 1987, the concept was for contributions to be pooled to support one major substance abuse prevention and education program. In addition to such grants, United Way Donor Option is an avenue. The agency United Way number is 9004.
Government on all levels also supports CADE. Pennsylvania's senior Senator, Arlen Specter has visited CADE's program and greatly assists CADE in receiving its research grant from the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention. CADE is a cost-effective program; 80% of every dollar raised goes directly
to services. There are many ways to obtain tax advantages when you contribute to CADE. Talk to your financial advisor, or click here for more information.
